OTHELLO inspiration
The opera Otello by Giuseppe Verdi takes us to a magical place, between Venice and Cyprus, along the ancient routes of commercial travel to the Indies, which united the West to the East. Exotic suggestions with unparalleled charm, cultures and aesthetic values of great evocative capacity, refer to the charm of ancient and precious fabrics. A design rich in meticulous details that is inspired by typical Indian fabrics, creates a set of geometric borders of great decorative value and, in the center, in the foreground, offers a refined Floral motif. Three chromatic variations proposed: the first mixes the deep tones of blue and light blue with turquoise, the second combines different shades of yellow, from amber tones to more intense and sunny ones while, the third, combines the bright shades of red coral and pink.
